1. Windows Vista Update.
The update (V1.89) that is available within this download section allows the original HipHop 6 software to be updated for use with Windows Vista. If you have purchased the HipHop 6 Virtual Music Studio product then this patch does not apply. Please always check the product pack shot at the top of the FAQ information page to verify which product you have purchased before downloading any updates.
The patch download is zipped with Winrar so you will need to read the information within the section “Downloading Updates" on the right hand side of this FAQ information and obtain the Winrar software which must be installed onto your PC before you can open the zipped file and execute the patch update.
2. Specification of the original product with the updated patch.
The patch update will allow you to run the original HipHop 6 software on Windows Vista. Please see the new specification that is contained within this FAQ regarding the use of this software and any requirements regarding this operating system.
3. The patch contains the folowing.
A. Vista update to allow the software to run on Windows Vista. B. The Patch contains previous updates. C. The patch fixes the problem with the ASPI drivers and also some other Vista related issues.
4. IMPORTANT : The correct way for uninstalling the HiphHop 6 software and the patch.
After patching, to uninstall HipHop 6 you must uninstall the HipHop 6 Patch v1.89 entry in the Add/Remove Programs list. To do this, open the START menu, select Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs (or Programs and Features on Windows Vista). Select HipHop 6 Patch v1.89 and click Remove to uninstall the patch. This will uninstall the patch and then prompt you to uninstall the original game.
Note: Uninstalling just the patch will not allow the original game to run. If you uninstalled just the patch (and not the original game) but still want to run the game, you will need to uninstall the original product and reinstall it. To uninstall when this has happened, insert CD1 and allow it to autorun. It will prompt you to uninstall the original game. If your PC does not autorun, then browse to CD1 and double click on the file setup.exe.
